Then the original source is revealed as a fake, and the spin machine goes into action about answer bear the horrible partisans who'd believe such a horrible lie, and that gets all the publicity. People tend not to believe the true awful things because they know that horrible partisans are making up stories to make Bush look bad even while we have a crisis, while people are dying! Actually getting the ZDF link would be very good. Preferably with photos that are provably not photoshopped. The problem here is that the spinmasters have unlimited resources to build their traps, and we have strictly limited resources to avoid falling in. |

But *someone* forged a document claiming it all, and it got believed, and all of a sudden the topic changed from Bush to the faked document. All of a sudden nobody cared whether it was true, they only cared whether the document was fake. |
