Seems like the people needed a higher governmental power to step in... Part of the problem here is that many people are unable to do anything without the assistance of some governmental authority. Let's say you're on a bus with 50 other people heading towards, say, Baton Rouge. You're no longer affected by the problems caused directly by the hurricane, but you don't have anywhere to go and you've got no money. What do you do? Can anyone here (besides Steve, tbrosz, and FF) think up a plan? |
