And some of these people are going to be coming back profoundly angry about damaged by their experiences over there. Great time to cut funding for veteran’s programs you “support the troops” Bush-backing assholes. Wave some yellow ribbons in the air, listen to some Toby Keith and slap a cheesy magnet on your car. Your job supporting the troops is done. Except for the part where you actual, y’know, support some actual soldiers and help them survive the shit they are going through on our behalf. Understaffed, undersupplied, underarmored, overexposed and suffering from a fatal lack of leadership at the civilian level.
