| Go to page 13, mother son read paragraph 5. It states: 5. The primary means of hurricane evacuation will be personal vehicles. School and municipal buses, government-owned vehicles and vehicles provided by volunteer agencies may be used to provide transportation for individuals who lack transportation and mother son require assistance in evacuating. Apparently that wasn't done prior to Katrina hitting. Why, I don't know. There mother son may be multiple reasons for it, but certainly some of the buses currently underwater could have been used to get some several ten thousands of people to safety. Clearly the writers of the plan knew that there were people who couldn't get out of the city. There was a failure to get them out, and that has cost our country dearly.
