Yesterday was perfect weather for walking christian living (sunshine all day..the first time in months!).. but I played with grandbabies instead.. 2 DDs and a DD-in-law used my house as a meeting place with 5 of our 6 grandkiddies(the oldest just turned 3). Our 6th grandchild lives in christian living Arkansas (he will be one in a couple weeks). I've only seen him once(when christian living he was born).. we plan to fly to Little Rock this fall after DH retires. I live in rural SW Washington state. I'm glad we don't have to deal with moose here. Deer eating our young trees is bad enough. Our garden has a high fence to keep them out. Did your sister in BC get the windstorm a couple days ago? | Here in Reno our training ice doesn't freeze all the way, but it is too cold and snowy to walk. I mainly use machines. How about you? SUSNAP 2/8/06 training 12:39 P IdahoAnn: Yes my sister did experience the windstorm. She had called me that day to tell it was pretty bad. In fact she is coming down to see me in April and then we are driving down to see my Dad in Virginia. It is nice when we can all get together at the same time. My Dad training was a real fanatic on exercise - he had a Nordic track for years and then always took walks, etc. Wow 6 grandchildren is great!! You must enjoy seeing them - it seems like time goes by so fast, doesn't it?? It seems like it was just yesterday that I was 18 and could eat anything I wanted without gaining weight - LOL. I love to walk also - one of my friends and I like to walk during the summer. It is healthy and relaxing and a great time to catch up with each other. |
