An outcry against police brutality, a conspiracy theory that they were trying to relocate the poor? And if YOUR bus or car had been seconded to transport the poor, would you have just stood around and said, shame the government needs it, they'll pay me back sometime. Despite the complaints, US citizens are pretty strong on drunk lesbian teen their civil liberties, drunk lesbian teen I don't know that they would have stood for a government official pushing them around. Especially when he tells you its "in your best interests". We've all heard governments say THAT before. Most of this thread is about what more the government could have done, and how angry people are about that. How much more local government could have done both before and after the tragedy. How much more FEMA could have done, especially with more funds. I agree wholeheartedly. All I'm doing is say - guys are the citizens entirely blameless? Could the victims themselves not have done a little more?
