The whole thing is a technique to get the Christian majority upset about something meaningless that can be attributed to drunk sex secular liberalism so they don't pay attention to what conservatives are doing with regard to Iraq, or dismantling Social Security, or...well, drunk sex all kinds of other things that if people looked at too closely, they might not keep voting for the far Right's candidates.
