And all women, for that matter. 12 randomliberal Feb 23rd, 2006 at 12:08 am LWF, Stenberg v. Carhart was the “partial-birth abortion” case from Nebraska I just referenced. The de sade South Dakota bill goes much farther, and Kennedy (the new swing, unfortunately) would have to reverse his own vote in Planned Parenthood v. Casey in order to uphold that particular bill. As I said above, de sade the worrisome one is the federal Misogyny PBA Ban Act case which was just granted cert. Unless something very shocking happens, de sade the law is almost certain to be upheld, as Kennedy has consistently voted to uphold PBA bans, even if they didn’t have health exceptions. 13 randomliberal Feb 23rd, 2006 at 12:09 am Hmm…my first comment is being moderated, so my second comment may not make a lot of sense yet… [feel free to delete this once my first comment emerges from the ether] 14 Christopher Feb 23rd, 2006 at 12:48 am What the hell?
