7 Stephen Feb 22nd, 2006 at 11:24 pm The good news is barely legal movies that this bill is poisoned…it will be overturned by every court in the country. If the supreme court was just clones of Scalia they would over turn this bill because it has no provision for the life of the mother. There is no where on earth where abortion to protect the life of the mother barely legal movies is illegal. This bill is disturbing and wrong, but if it passes it will have no real barely legal movies effect. I’m sure the sponsors must know this will die in the courts. The suspicious side of my suspects that they want it to die so they can get the base out next november to fight “activist judges” who think that a bill the prevents doctors from saving their patients lives is not constitutional. There are other bills out there that are more frightening, because they could be upheld by a conservative court. Notification laws, for example, or laws that disallow abortion for everything but the life of the mother.
