Even on long rides in the wilderness, this pad still looks as nice as the day I bought it. AND it never slipped going up and down some medical problems really steep rough terrain.Dislikes: I really have not found anything about this pad that medical problems I don't medical problems like. If anything at all, it would be nice if it was less expensive, but I understand that the prices have really increased over the last 50+ years that I have been riding, and like everything else, you get what you pay for and the quality is worth the price.Quality: The pad has a tacky, waffle, bottom that allows moisture to run off or just evaporate as you are riding and does not absorb into the material part of the pad. The edges are finished off so it doesn't rub the horse anywhere, and it isn't a pad so stiff that it just sits on the horses back. This pad is very nice and I would rate it as a 10+ in quality and workmanship and if I ever wear it out (and I doubt that), I would not hesitate to buy another one just like it.Summary:
