Soon I would be getting my lunch in liquid form via IV. About 3:30 my doc came in to check on me and broke my waters with a long crochet hook lookin' thing. Fucking painful. They also hooked me up to a pitocin drip to bring on regular contractions. |

It may not be funny or even really entertaining, since it really wasn't either of those things. I a lucky that our Doula wrote up a little summary of our birth story for us, because I don't remember much after about 14 hours of labour. I am attempting point form since those of us with faux ADHD can read it better. Jan 27, 2004 I went in around 9:30 to get induced. I had pregnancy-induced hypertension and I am diabetic, so "they" wanted baby out. A gel was applied to my cervix to soften/ripen/dilate it. |
